Polish Pottery – Hand painted from Poland
Polish Pottery comes from Boleslawiec Poland. All pieces are handcrafted and hand-painted in a variety of patterns and colors. Some pieces known as Unikat, have more intricate designs, more color and are actually signed by the artist. We carry a variety of types of dishes, in a variety of patterns and some are Unikat.
Polish Pottery is microwave, oven, dishwasher, and freezer safe. It is for everyday use not just special occasions! The glaze used makes the pieces chip and scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The glaze is lead and cadmium free, completely food safe.

African Fair Trade Baskets
African Baskets are all handwoven by women in a region of Ghana. The local women help to supplement the family farm income by weaving baskets from locally grown straw. This much-needed income is a skill that is passed down from generation to generation. On average, two baskets can be made per week by a woman who also has many other chores and cares for her family.
When you purchase a basket, know that you are helping in fair trade and helping families with the much-needed income.

In 2018 I had the pleasure of meeting Paula, the artist, and her husband. What a wonderful couple! They have a commitment to quality and their items are all manufactured in the US.
